With extensive experience in real estate law, title, and property transactions, Kaitlyn created CDeeds to provide Maryland homeowners, investors, and professionals with a reliable, transparent, and stress-free way to handle deed preparation and property transfers.
Born and raised in Anne Arundel County, Kaitlyn’s passion for real estate began early. Before becoming an attorney, she worked within multiple areas of the industry — including title, mortgage lending, and real estate sales — where she witnessed firsthand how easily property transfers could become confusing or delayed. That experience inspired her to build CDeeds as a modern solution: combining legal precision with the kind of clear communication and customer care every client deserves.
At CDeeds, Kaitlyn leads a dedicated team of real estate professionals committed to getting every detail right — from drafting and recording deeds to resolving title issues and ensuring smooth ownership transitions. Melissa N. Paddy, Esq. is a Maryland-based attorney and partner at CDeeds, an attorney-owned real property and deed services company serving clients across the state of Maryland. With over a decade of diverse legal experience, Melissa brings a detail-oriented and client-focused approach to every matter — ensuring each property transfer is handled with precision, efficiency, and care.
A lifelong Marylander, Melissa earned her Juris Doctor from the University of Baltimore School of Law and her Bachelor’s degree in Political Science from the University of Maryland, Baltimore County. Over the course of her career, she has worked with individuals, families, and businesses to navigate complex legal processes with confidence and clarity. Her background spans transactional law, title matters, and contract review — experience that gives her a comprehensive understanding of what it takes to execute property transfers correctly the first time.
At CDeeds, Melissa works closely with clients and team members to oversee operations, review legal documentation, and ensure that every deed prepared by the company meets Maryland’s strict legal standards. She is known for her professionalism, responsiveness, and ability to simplify even the most intricate title or transfer issue for her clients.
Outside the office, Melissa is an avid outdoorswoman who enjoys hiking, hunting, fishing, and pickleball. She also leads the annual Children’s Fish Rodeo at the Baltimore County Game and Fish Protective Association — an event that brings together hundreds of families each year to celebrate community, conservation, and Maryland’s natural beauty.
